What We Check Before Recommending Tree Damage Repair
We review shingles, ridge caps, gutters, valleys, flashing, tree impact, hail marks, ice-dam paths, attic moisture, interior stains, and whether tarping is needed before permanent repair.
Tree impact repairs vary widely in scope. A small branch that scratched a few shingles needs minor shingle replacement. A large limb that pierced the decking may need new sheathing, new underlayment, flashing at the edges of the repaired section, and new shingles — plus a check of the attic sheathing if the limb came through. We assess the impact zone and the surrounding area before giving a repair estimate so there are no surprises once the work begins.
